ABOUT

The Inman Heritage Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the rich history of Inman, Kansas. Established with a passion for storytelling, our museum showcases the legacy of our community, honoring the ancestors who shaped our town and the significant role Inman played in agricultural advancements throughout the United States. We aim to connect visitors with the stories of our past, celebrating the spirit of innovation and resilience that defines Inman. Our mission is to ensure that the heritage of our community continues to inspire future generations.

Inman’s impact on agriculture extends beyond our local fields. During wartime, the community’s involvement in custom cutting not only supported the nation’s war efforts but also spurred the creation of innovative farming technologies. These advancements transformed the agricultural landscape, leading to inventions that continue to influence modern farming practices. At the Inman Heritage Museum, we highlight the contributions of the people of Inman, showcasing how the ingenuity of our community shaped both our past and the future of agriculture.
